straight up custom!

There isn't much to choose from when it comes to UT game day dresses. The official store for Longhorn gear, the University Co-op, sells burnt orange dresses that I don't think are very cute for really ridiculous prices (See here). I can't ever justify buying a dress from the co-op
because frankly, I don't think they're worth the money...or maybe it's because I'm cheap economical. :) 

What do you do when you don't find a cute dress to buy? Make your own. I'm not a professional seamstress by any means, but I've learned through trial and error how to properly use a sewing machine and how to sew elastic into some fabric. Here are some pictures of sees (sister) and me in the dresses:

Fun note: We are only 17 months apart in age so when we were babies, our mom would dress us in matching attire...20ish years later and we're still doin' it - by choice. We didn't win this weekend but we at least were looking cute!
